Believe it or not, according to Jonar Nader, researchers at Logictivity are working on an ingenious drug-free method of keeping people awake behind the wheel of a car.
Car accidents and fatalities due to micro-sleeps are critically high. Drowsy drivers endeavour to stay awake by turning up the music, and consuming caffeine or other more serious drugs. But despite all their efforts and the best awareness campaign, drivers are still falling asleep behind the wheel.
‘Ask pharmaceutical companies to come up with a solution, and they are bound to come up with a drug that they can sell at huge profits. Ask beverage companies to assist, and no doubt their only solution would be some kind of beverage. These are the problems of commercialised science,’ said Chief Scientist Rhonda Roach.
Scientists at Logictivity have completed a two-year study with staggering results. They found an all natural way to increase alertness by 400%.
‘At Logictivity, we are a pure innovation company. We want to find the best result, regardless of who stands to win or lose,’ added Dr Roach.
The innovative and ingenious result is so simple, one wonders why it hasn’t been thought of before. The best way to keep awake is to drink two litres of water. The muscular tension as a result of that ‘busting to go to the loo’ feeling activates all the essential nerves that keep drivers awake, and alert.
So, next time you want to stay awake, forget about the caffeine, try some water… and lots of it. Better to feel like you’re busting than to get busted.
Believe it… or not.
