When it comes to extricating manipulative political animals from an organisation, you must do this in the loudest most ostentatious manner possible within the law. You need to live and enact your set of values. And when your code of conduct says, ‘We in this company will not tolerate anyone who tries to destroy our soul,’ then you had better take arms and fight… so that everyone will know that certain behaviours will not be tolerated. And before you take off the armour, go in search of the person who hired the last feral beast, and make sure that they do not have the very disease that you have just eradicated.
